Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in America. In the film and television business, she is famous for her nominations and awards. Bassett was brought up by her aunt in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Her birthplace was and raised at home in New York New York. Bassett and her sister, at the age of five old, made the move from New York to St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their divorced father. When she was in high school Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she would like to be an actor. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut earning a bachelor's diploma (1980) in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale, and in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980. Graduate of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grade), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda for the action adventure movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
